A Brewing Storm...

The last couple of days were frustrating, if not deabilitating. We had to push ourselves harder than ever, with the avalanche of assignments pouring in, coupled with a mad but largely unsuccessful attempts to do something in the lab. And the series tests themselves. My brain feels like a wrung sponge. Or should I say saturated? So saturated in fact that it cannot take any more without first taking a much needed break.
And all of this, it seems is barely the tip of the iceberg. October 19 happens to be our semester exam, and we have not yet finished our portions. We have extra classes tomorrow, Monday,and Tuesday. And after all that we still have to complete the lab work. It will all be completed by, let us say, 12 or 13. Then we have a week at best to study for the university exams. What a comforting thought to be living with!!!

Anybody there???

0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 ...wondering what the hell that is???That is the number of comments on my blog. Sometimes I wonder why I even write, actually nobody reads this stuff except for just me, and maybe one or two, on my incessant prodding. But that doubt vanishes soon, you know. I just love to write. I love to play with words, use unusual expressions, and invent some of my own. But I get frustrated at times, please dont be angry at me...
And when I get frustrated, I need some means by which I can release it, and writing is one of them. Sometimes I am angry over God-knows-what and I feel down in the dump for the smallest of issues. Maybe that's because I believe I am something I'm not. Maybe because I have an inflated view of myself. Can't help it. That's me. I dont even know why I am writing this...this is all so incoherent...  

Back Home!!

Hi...I'm back home thanks to an unexpected twist of fate.Saturday, initially scheduled to be a working day, fell victim to a hartal, and Monday turned out to be a motor vehicle strike, so there is no likelihood of classes on either of these days.
So, I'm back home, again...

Something New...and Big!

I know it is out of character for me to post twice daily,but something huge has to be said, and it needs to be said right now.
I've been on the blogging scene for a couple of months now, and I have now taken my next step. I have posted a couple of videos of me imitating idea star singer judges M G Sreekumar, Sarath and Didi.
I had to cut out the song part sung by my cousin D, as it was too much for my poor net to handle.

Onam Holidays

Thankfully this time, Onam and Ramzan fell close by, so we could anticipate a near 2-week holiday. But, then again, was it going to happen smoothly? My eternal phrase comes to play again. "There's many a slip between the cup and the lip". Will everything work out?Or not?

I reached home on 27th. The days passed uneventfully,but one could literally smell the doubt lingering in the air. If Ramzan fell on 30th, its over. I would have class on 31st and 1st and 2nd...a bit too much to cut.After a nail biting couple of days, we finally got the news that Ramzan is on 31st. മനസ്സില്‍ ലഡ്ഡു പൊട്ടി !!! Then came the icing on the cake. I had thought that I would have to cut atleast one day, but now take a look at this...1st and 2nd were suspended due to first year admissions. മനസ്സില്‍ മറ്റൊരു ലഡ്ഡു പൊട്ടി !!!!!

And thankfully, I got a respite from college and was at home for 2 whole weeks.

Now...focussing on Onam...

It wasn't huge, we have had better, but this was all we've been having for quite a couple of years now. Anna and Sreekuaps came, besides the usual Bakkalam lot. That was it. At least, chicken biriyani and sadya (സദ്യ) made up for it.

( For anyone whom I might be annoying with jabs in malayalam, sorry, I cant help it. You see, I just found out you can transliterate using blogger...)

I saw a variety of flower carpets(പൂക്കളം) too, this time. Besides mine, which had no shape in particular(although that was unintentional) I saw a square one put at Anna's house. I'll try to post a picture soon, I seem to have left it at home.

Anyway, that's all history now, and I am back to college, looking forward to the end of the semester, which should be in 2-3 weeks.
